A YEAR-LONG ONLINE PROGRAM IN HERBAL MEDICINE
It is time to get excited about plants and awaken your passion for natural healing! This online program is for beginning to intermediate students who want more in-depth knowledge about medicinal plants.
Make a deeper connection to the earth. Discover the healing properties of medicinal plants – a special and unique part of our world. Come on a journey with us and experience an intimate connection with healing herbs. Study medicinal plants easily grown in a garden, weedy herbs, and some special exotics. Students will foster a lifelong relationship with herbs as we explore the healing power of plants and the study of herbal medicine. The Herbal Foundations Certificate Program is valuable, both for herb enthusiasts and professionals* wanting to add to their healing repertoire.
This Program Includes:
Herbs for Body Systems: Respiratory System, Cardiovascular System, Nervous System, Reproductive System, Kidneys and Bladder, Liver and Digestive System, Skin, Muscular Skeletal System, Lymphatic System, Immune System
Medicine Making: Tinctures, Syrups, Salves, Herbal oils, Teas, Decoctions, Vinegars, Honeys, Oxymels, Elixirs, Poultices, Liniments, Hydrotherapy, Medicine making tools, and Herb drying and processing
Wildcrafting Ethics and Medicinal Gardening Basics
Herbal Actions: Herbal properties and effects
Materia Medica: Learn the healing properties of specific plants, the parts and how to use them, harvesting times and techniques, side effects and contraindications
Students will complete Herbal Foundations with a full natural medicine kit created with their own hands, as well as a certificate upon completion of the course. Completion entails completing all assignments and missing no more than 3 classes throughout the program.
*The Montana Board of Chiropractors has approved Herbal Foundations to offer continuing education units for chiropractors. Massage therapists have also received continuing education credits upon finishing this program.

Cancellation Policy:
A full tuition refund will be paid if the student withdraws (in writing) before the first day of class. All refunds are minus a $50 administrative fee and any credit card fees associated with payment.
If a student cancels after the classes have begun, a calculation of all allowable charges shall be made using the date we received a written termination notification.
If a student withdraws from any program, a refund calculation will be applied based on the following:
Less than 10% of course completed = 75% refund
More than 10 % and less than 25% of course completed = 50% refund
More than 25% and less than 50% of course completed = 25% refund
Over 50% of course completed = 0% refund
After 50% of the course is over, the total sum of tuition is owed in full, even if not all classes are attended.
All students making payments are still subject to the Refund Policy terms.
