  1. Hello,

I am wondering if you might be offering any sort of herbalist certificate intensives at any point? I live in Rapid City, SD. I know many places offer distance learning, but it’s just not the same as the actual in person experience. Or even if you might do a combination of distance learning and a week or long weekend of hands on?

    • Hi Sasha, Thanks for your interest in our programs! We are definitely planning a future on-line program that will incorporate optional classes in Missoula. Stay tuned!

  2. Hi,
Will you talk about Queen Anne’s Lace in your Natural Birth Control class? How much of the course is about herbs?

    • Hi Cara,
No, I won’t be talking about queen Anne’s lace, beyond a mention, as I don’t have enough experience with it. The birth control part of the class will focus on Natural Family Planning (NFP). The herbal part will focus on hormonal balancing for clients suffering from PMS, amenorrhea, irregular cycles, anovulation, dysmenorrhea, hormonal acne or headaches, recurrent miscarriage and infertility. We will also discuss integrating NFP as a tool for practitioners.

    • Hi Mathina,
No, that is a federal loan program and we can not be accredited as we do not meet the requirements as an institution. Sorry! Students have taken out bank loans to go to Green Path, though.

  3. Hello!

I was wondering if there were still spots open for the upcoming course? Also what sort of work trade options do you offer? Also is there out of class time commitment?
    So many questions!
Elaine, I’ve been told by a few people lately that we need to know each other. My name is Emily I am a local yoga teacher, healer, care giver, and general life enthusiast in town

    Much love,

    • Hi Emily,
Are you talking about the longer school program that starts in February, or the Herbal Foundations program that is 1 Saturday a month? Either way, maybe we should talk over the phone or I could give you a tour of the school. You could call us at 406-274-2009. Looking forward to talking with you!

  4. Hello-
I am interested in signing up for the Divine Feminine Self Care class on March 19th.
How do I sign up for this? Do we pay now or then?

    • Hi Rachel, yes, you can pay two ways. The first is through the Paypal buttons under each class. You could also mail a check to
      Green Path Herb School
      P.O. Box 7813
      Missoula MT 59807

  5. Wondering if there is still room (and how much room) in the class being held on March 19th?! Hoping to sign up soon!

  6. Hi There,

I am wondering if you are able to make a recommendation regarding use of EO in children ADHD? Are there specific preparations that you can suggest.

    • Hi Connie,
There are a lot of variables here – the child’s age and weight, their sensitivity to smells, foods, medicines, herbs. What I am trying to say is there is no easy answer. I would recommend letting your child smell various pure essentials oils, and see which ones they react to in a calm manner. Watch tier face and body language as they smell. See how they react and which ones they are drawn to. I would also strongly caution against using the oils internally or directly, undiluted, on the skin. My son loves to wear an aromatherapy necklace with different oils. Some of his favorites for calming are German chamomile, lavender, and vanilla. I hope that is useful! I also do phone consults if that would be helpful.

  7. Hi,
I’ve signed up and paid for the rose hips class tomorrow. I just wanted to know where I should be going please. Is there an address, I don’t seem to see it? Thanks.

    • Hi Bryony,
All classes are held at 180 S 3rd St W above Meadowsweet Herbs. See you tonight!

  8. hi, i was wondering if you were supporting a Chinese herbal program.

    • Hi Lynn,
We have 3 Chinese herb and medicine classes at the school, but that is just an introduction to that complex system.

  9. I enjoyed both of your classes at the Spokane Herbal fair yesterday. I am also looking forward to being on the e-mail list, and to getting info about your on-line class coming up. Thank you for sharing.

  10. I see that your Saturday program already started so I missed 3 classes and would miss a 4th in June as I have to be in Helena at that time. Are you planning to have another Saturday program next year and if so when would it tentatively start? I also would love to be on your mailing list for any future classes. Do you cover herbs for seasonal allergies and pet allergies? I have seasonal ones and my granddaughter has both.

  11. Hi, I have a question about some information you provided in an article about Mullein and its uses. You suggested drinking a 1/2 tsp of Mullein root in a 1/4 cup of water before bed for bedwetting and incontinence. My question is, how does one use (or maybe process) the root? I have a mullein plant in my yard and a rain storm has knocked it down, so I’m researching how to harvest the various beneficial parts before it dies.

    • Malika, I’m not sure which article you saw this in. Can you be more specific? Thanks!

  12. Hello! Is the clinical herbalist course offered online or is it in class only? I live abroad but am having difficulty finding a clinical course in my area.

  13. I live in Washington and am very interested in your classes. Is there any chance they could be offered online?
