Understanding Basic Labs
Understanding Basic Labs and Bloodwork
A TWO-DAY, PRERECORDED, SELF PACED WEBINAR
Join Naturopathic Doctor William Franklin for a two-day pre-recorded seminar on how to read and understand basic lab reports and blood panels. The labs covered in this webinar are used as initial screening tools to check for a variety of things, such as the functioning of certain organs (including the liver, kidneys, thyroid and heart), the health of your circulatory system (including the immune cells), and some of the more overt issues with nutrient status.
Labs and Panels are useful tools in helping to evaluate an individual’s general health and they can point doctors at more specialized testing to identify what is going wrong.
William Will Discuss:
What each item on the lab is looking at
What normal ranges are
Where normal ranges come from
Complete blood counts (CBC)
Comprehensive metabolic panels (CMP)
Lipid panels
Urinalysis
